The third extension took the Tramway from the corner of the lake where phase 2 had left it, to the front of the Boating Lake and therefore into the heart of that part of the Park.
A set of points were included at the Lakeside end to allow two vehicles to stable there. Whilst it is possible to have two Trams up at the Lake, the overhead only serves one line, so a little jiggery pokery is required with the trolley poles. :)
